Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extending across the southern half of the State is
gradually weakening. A new ridge building through northern Australia will bring
a cooler southeast change from Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough and a low pressure system developing offshore from the west coast will
move inland across the western districts on Sunday and weaken early Monday. A
ridge will strengthen again over southern WA on Monday and Tuesday. A cold
front will approach the west coast during Wednesday, possibly moving through
later in the evening.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 14 July
Showers over southern parts of the Central West, Lower West, Central Wheat
Belt, Great Southern, southern Goldfields, and southern coastal districts, more
frequent about the Southwest Capes.

Forecast for Monday 15 July
Light showers along the south coast, eastern parts of the South East Coastal,
southern Goldfields, southern Interior, and Eucla. Chance of morning fog over
the inland South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 16 July
Light showers over far eastern parts of the South East Coastal district, Eucla
and adjacent South Interior. Chance of morning fog over southeastern parts of
the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Chance of morning
frost over the eastern southern Interior. Windy across central and northern WA.

Forecast for Wednesday 17 July
Showers developing southwest of a line from Carnarvon to Hopetoun, mainly later
in the day. Chance of morning fog over far eastern parts of the South East
Coastal district, southeast Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent South Interior.
Chance of morning frost over the southern Interior. Windy across western and
northern WA.
