Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extending into northern parts of the State is weakening
and moving to the east. Lighter easterly winds will lead to warmer temperatures
next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is crossing the southwest coast this morning and will continue
eastward through southern WA during the afternoon and evening while weakening.
A weak high pressure system will quickly pass through the State on Monday,
followed by the next cold front on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 7 July
Showers and rain southwest of Exmouth to Eucla, widespread about southern and
western parts of the South West Land Division. Showers easing about the west
coast during the afternoon and evening. Chance of thunderstorms about coastal
parts between Mandurah and Denmark. Morning fog over eastern Eucla. Areas of
frost in the morning in the Interior, adjacent Goldfields, eastern Eucla,
northeast Gascoyne and adjacent Pilbara. Abnormally high tides about coastal
parts between Kalbarri to Augusta.

Forecast for Monday 8 July
Chance of showers, mainly light, over far southwest Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern
Goldfields, northern and western parts of the South West Land Division.
Possible morning fog over the inland South West Land Division, western Gascoyne
and southwestern Goldfields.

Forecast for Tuesday 9 July
Showers and rain south of Exmouth to Warburton, more frequent about the
Southern West Land Division and southwest Gascoyne. Heavy falls possible in the
southwest. Chance of gusty thunderstorms southwest of Gingin to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 10 July
Showers and rain south of Onslow to Warburton. Chance of gusty thunderstorms
about the coastal parts from Cape Naturaliste to Bremer Bay.
