Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
Windy and cooler conditions will persist across the north of the State this
week under the influence of a high pressure ridge to the south.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure system lies well south of the State, while an
upper-level low is present near the South Australian border. A cold front will
approach the west coast on Saturday and move through from early Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 5 July
Light showers and drizzle about the south coast east of Albany and into the
Eucla. Chance of morning frost over inland southern parts of the South West
Land Division, and eastern Interior and Eucla. Windy across northern and
central parts of the State.

Forecast for Saturday 6 July
Showers developing southwest of Denham to Albany in the evening. Chance of
morning fog and frost over eastern parts of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields, inland Eucla and Interior. Windy across northern parts of the State
in the morning, becoming windy about the west coast.

Forecast for Sunday 7 July
Showers southwest of Exmouth to Eyre. Isolated thunderstorms between Mandurah
and Windy Harbour early morning. Chance of morning frost over the eastern South
Interior.

Forecast for Monday 8 July
Showers west of Coral Bay to Mount Magnet to Walpole. Chance of morning fog
over the inland South West Land Division, western Gascoyne and southwest
Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
