Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
Windy conditions persisting across the north of the State under the influence
of a high pressure ridge to the south .

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving eastwards across the south coast. A new high pressure
ridge should follow in the wake of this front with a low pressure system
developing over the far southeast of the State on Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 2 July
Showers extending to be southwest of a line Geraldton to Israelite Bay, then
contracting to the south coast in the late afternoon/evening. Chance of morning
fog in the northeast Wheat Belt, western Goldfields, and eastern Interior.
Windy across northern and far southern parts of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 July
Showers over the south coastal districts east of Walpole. Showers also possible
over the Pilbara and adjacent parts of the Kimberley and Northern Interior.
Chance of morning fog over inland parts of the South West Land Division,
Southern Interior, and eastern Eucla. Windy across northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 4 July
Showers over the South Coastal, South East Coastal, southern Goldfields, Eucla,
and southern Interior. Chance of morning fog over inland parts of the South
West, western parts of the South Coastal, and southeastern parts of the State.
Windy across northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Friday 5 July
Showers over the southeast of the State and along the south coast, east of
Albany.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
