Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A cloud band extending over the southwestern Kimberley and Northern Interior is
moving slowly eastwards. A cooler southeasterly wind surge will move across the
north from today as a ridge builds over southern Australia.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system moving across the northern Goldfields is continuing to
weaken. Showers and thunderstorms associated with this systems will ease during
the remainder of the weekend. Meanwhile, a high pressure system south of the
State extends a firm ridge across southern and central WA. The next cold front
is expected to cross the southwest of the State overnight Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 30 June
Showers over the Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, southeast Gascoyne, northeast
Wheat Belt and along the south coast. Chance of morning fog over southern parts
of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 1 July
Showers over the Eucla, northeast Interior, and southeast Kimberley. Showers
developing over the Southwest District in the evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 July
Showers extending over southwestern parts of the State to be west of a line
Jurien Bay to Cunderdin to Hopetoun, and along the south coast to Israelite
Bay, by evening. Chance of morning fog in the northeast Wheat Belt, western
Goldfields, and eastern Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 July
Showers south of a line from about Bunbury to Kalgoorlie to Forrest. Showers
also possible over the Pilbara and adjacent parts of the Kimberley and Northern
Interior. Chance of morning fog over inland parts of the South West Land
Division, eastern Southern Interior, and eastern Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
