Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge developing across southern WA is directing a cooler
southeast wind change across the north. A cloud band is expected to develop
over western Pilbara from Tuesday and will extend to the Interior later in the
week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is extending over southern WA, while moist onshore
flow is maintaining showers on the south coast. A cloud band will develop
across the Gascoyne on Tuesday, ahead of a cold front arriving on the west
coast on Wednesday. Widespread rainfall is expected across central and southern
WA as associated low pressure system sweeps through later in the week.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 24 June
Light showers over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent South Interior. Showers more frequent
about the south coast. Areas of morning frost and fogs over inland South West
Land Division, southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and South Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 25 June
Light showers over the southern coastal districts. Showers developing over
southwest Pilbara and northern Gascoyne during the day, and about the Southwest
Capes in the evening. Areas of morning frost and fogs over inland South West
Land Division, Goldfields, southern and eastern Gascoyne, and South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 June
Showers and rain areas over southwest Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, adjacent
South Interior, western Eucla and South West Land Division. Chance of gusty
thunderstorms about the west coast. Areas of morning frost over central and
southern Interior, Eucla, southeast Goldfields and adjacent South East Coastal.

Forecast for Thursday 27 June
Showers and rain areas over the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, central and
southern Interior, Eucla and South West Land Division. Chance of gusty
thunderstorms over the South West Land Division. Heavy falls possible about the
west coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
