Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge through central Australia is directing easterly winds and and slightly
warmer temperatures across the state, but the ridge will weaken as it moves
eastwards through today. A new high pressure ridge developing across southern
WA will direct a cooler southeast wind change from Monday. Meanwhile, a cloud
band is expected to develop over western Pilbara from Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weakening cold front is moving east across southern WA and will exit the
state later today. A firm ridge will follow in the front’s wake today, and
expand over southern WA on Monday. A cloud band will develop across the
Gascoyne on Tuesday, ahead of a cold front and associated low pressure system
arriving on the west coast on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 23 June
Light showers over Gascoyne, far northern Goldfields, southern Interior, and
the southern districts. Showers more widespread about the south coast. Areas of
morning frost and fogs over inland South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 24 June
Light showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent South Interior. Showers more frequent about the
south coast. Areas of morning frost and fogs over inland South West Land
Division, southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and South Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 25 June
Showers over the southern coastal districts. Showers developing about the
southwest coast, southwest Pilbara and northern Gascoyne. Areas of morning
frost and fogs about central and southern South West Land Division, Goldfields,
southern Gascoyne and South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 June
Showers and rain areas over southwest Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, southern
Interior, Eucla and South West Land Division. Chance of thunderstorms about the
west coast. Areas of morning frost over central and southern Interior.
