Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure extends from the Interior and into parts of the
Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cloud band extending across the Central West and Central Wheat Belt districts
should weaken later today. A cold front is approaching the west coast and is
expected to cross the southwest WA this morning The cold front will be followed
by a vigorous westerly flow later today and early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 9 June
Showers southwest of a line from Coral Bay to Eucla. Showers tending to rain
over the northern Central West, northern Central Wheat Belt and southwest
Goldfields, easing during the day with moderate to heavy falls possible. Chance
of a gusty thunderstorm southwest of Busselton to Albany. Windy across the
western districts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 10 June
Showers southwest of a line from Coral Bay to Eucla. Chance of a gusty
thunderstorm about the coast between Augusta and Albany.

Forecast for Tuesday 11 June
Showers southwest of a line from Coral Bay to Eyre. Chance of a thunderstorm
about the South West coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 12 June
Showers southwest of a line from Exmouth to Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
