Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
The top end of a cold front will sweep across northern parts today and Monday.
A new ridge developing over central parts of the State on Monday and Tuesday
will bring gusty southeasterly winds to the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front is expected to move over southwestern parts of the State
early this morning and the remainder of the State during the day today and
Monday. A ridge will begin to develop over central parts of the State in the
wake of the cold front on Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 2 June
Widespread showers over western parts of the State in the morning and extending
east to reach the southwest Kimberley, Interior and Eucla during the afternoon
and evening. Showers tending to rain south of about Shark Bay to Giles, easing
to showers over western parts in the morning. Heavy falls possible southwest of
a line from Kalbarri to Dalwallinu to Albany, easing by mid morning. The chance
of very gusty thunderstorms over the Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and northern
and western parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 3 June
Showers across the far eastern Pilbara, most of the Kimberley, Interior, Eucla,
far east Goldfields, contracting east during the day. Showers also for western
and southern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers tending to rain
over the Interior and Eucla in the early morning. The chance of thunderstorms
near the coast east of Esperance, the southwest Kimberley and the adjacent
Pilbara and North interior. Chance of morning fog over the northeast Central
West district.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 June
Showers southwest of Perth to Albany and along the south coast, Eucla and
southeast South Interior. Chance of morning fog over inland parts of the South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 5 June
Showers southwest of Busselton to Windy Harbour. Chance of a shower near the
eastern Eucla coast. Chance of morning fog over the Southeast Coastal and
eastern South Coast districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
