Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over central parts of the State will bring moderate to fresh easterly
winds over northern parts on Saturday morning. The top end of a cold front will
sweep across northern parts on Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front is expected to move over southwestern parts of the State
from Saturday evening and the remainder of the State during Sunday and Monday.
A ridge will begin to develop over central parts of the State in the wake of
the cold front on Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 1 June
Widespread showers southwest of a line from Bunbury to Windy Harbour in the
morning, extending to southwest of Exmouth to Albany during the late afternoon
and evening. Showers tending to rain later south of Kalbarri. Heavy falls
possible with rain southwest of Mandurah to Windy Harbour. The chance of gusty
thunderstorms southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Walpole.

Forecast for Sunday 2 June
Widespread showers over western parts of the State extending across the
remainder during the day, apart from the northeast Kimberley and northeastern
parts of the Northern Interior. Showers tending to rain south of about Shark
Bay to Giles. The chance of gusty thunderstorms over south of Shark Bay to
Laverton to Kalgoorlie to Albany. Heavy falls possible southwest of a line from
Kalbarri to Dalwallinu to Albany.

Forecast for Monday 3 June
Showers extending across the far eastern Pilbara, most of the Kimberley,
Interior, Eucla, southeastern Goldfields, and western and southern parts of the
South West Land Division. Showers tending to rain over the Interior and Eucla
in the early morning. The chance of thunderstorms over the southeast of the
State and also the southwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 June
Showers near southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division, Eucla and
southeast South Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
