Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over central parts of the State will bring moderate to fresh easterly
winds over northern parts today and Saturday. The top end of a cold front
should sweep across northern parts on Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge will persist over central parts of the State through to the start of
the weekend. A strong cold front is expected to move across the state later on
Saturday through to Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 31 May
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Albany and along the south
coast. Chance of showers over the north and east Kimberley. Chance of morning
fog over the eastern Central West district, Central Wheat Belt and far
southeast Gascoyne districts. Chance of patchy morning frost over the eastern
Central Wheat Belt, far northwest Goldfields, far eastern Gascoyne, and eastern
Southern Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 1 June
Showers and rain southwest of a line from Mandurah to Walpole, extending to
southwest of Exmouth to Bremer Bay in the evening. Moderate falls possible in
the southern Lower West and South West Districts. The chance of thunderstorms
southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Walpole.

Forecast for Sunday 2 June
Showers extending across much of the State apart from the Kimberley and
northeastern parts of the Northern Interior. The chance of thunderstorms over
western districts south of Shark Bay. Moderate to heavy falls and small hail
possible in western districts south of about Geraldton.

Forecast for Monday 3 June
Showers extending across the far eastern Pilbara, Kimberley, Interior, Eucla,
southeastern Goldfields, and western and southern parts of the South West Land
Division. The chance of thunderstorms over the southeast of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
