Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge lies from the southeast to central parts of the State with a
generally east to southeasterly flow over northern parts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies from the southeast to central parts of the State. A weak cold
front is forecast to reach the Southwest Capes later on Sunday evening and then
move into far southwest parts of the South West Land Division on Monday. A
further cold front moves through the South West Land Division during the day
with a trough over the Gascoyne and Goldfields.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 26 May
Showers developing southwest of a line from Perth to Albany during the morning
and afternoon. Light falls expected. Patchy morning fog over inland parts of
the South West Land Division and far southwest Goldfields. Mostly sunny over
the remainder of the State.

Forecast for Monday 27 May
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Hopetoun. Light falls expected.
Chance of morning fog over inland central parts of the South West Land
Division. Mostly sunny over the remainder of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, southwest Gascoyne, Goldfields,
western Eucla and western South Interior. Chance of gusty thunderstorms
southwest of Carnarvon to Israelite Bay. Moderate falls possible over the Lower
West district and coastal parts of the South West district. Partly cloudy
elsewhere.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla, South
Interior. Possible showers over the eastern Pilbara, southwest Kimberley and
North Interior. Chance of thunderstorms along coastal areas between Jurien Bay
and Eucla, also over parts of the South Interior.
