Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge to the south is maintaining moderate to fresh and gusty
winds over northern parts, easing on Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system in the Bight and associated ridge will dominate the
weather pattern for most of the week. A relatively weak cold front due to cross
the west coast later Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 22 May
Light showers southwest of Margaret River to Albany, otherwise mostly sunny
over the remainder of the State. Windy over northern parts of the State, mostly
morning.

Forecast for Thursday 23 May
Mostly sunny throughout, apart from the chance of a morning shower along the
coastal South Coastal district.

Forecast for Friday 24 May
Showers developing southwest of a line from Jurien Bay and Denmark during the
afternoon and evening, with the chance of gusty thunderstorms near the coast
between Perth and Augusta. Mostly light falls expected. Mostly sunny elsewhere.

Forecast for Saturday 25 May
Showers southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Albany. Mostly light falls
expected. Mostly sunny elsewhere.
