Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge strengthens over the State and directs moderate to fresh east to
southeasterly winds over the area.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge and high pressure system moves south of the State over the weekend
with a new trough to develop offshore.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 11 May
Possible shower south of a line Lancelin to Kellerberrin to Esperance, with the
chance of thunderstorms over the far southern Central Wheat Belt, northern and
eastern Great Southern, Southeast Coastal district and far southwest
Goldfields. Light falls expected. Windy morning over northern parts of the
State. Morning fog possible over western and central inland parts of the South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 12 May
Possible showers southwest of Mandurah to Bremer Bay. Slight chance of a
thunderstorm southwest of Mandurah to Katanning to Walpole.

Forecast for Monday 13 May
Possible showers over the far west Pilbara, Gascoyne and northern Central West
district. Chance of a thunderstorm over the far west Gascoyne and far northern
Central West district.

Forecast for Tuesday 14 May
Showers and thunderstorms over the west Pilbara, Gascoyne and northern Central
West district. Chance of morning fog over the South West district.
