Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure extends over the Pilbara coast to the North
Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will rapidly develop along the south coast behind a weak
cold front slipping away to the southeast of the state. A trough will deepen
down the west coast Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 29 January
Showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the Kimberley,
north and east Interior, and inland eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 January
Showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the Kimberley,
north and east Interior, and central and eastern Pilbara. Very hot over
southern and western parts of the Kimberley, inland parts of the Pilbara,
western Gascoyne, and Central West and northern parts of the Lower West
districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 January
Showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over most parts of the
Kimberley, northwest Interior, Pilbara and far northern Gascoyne. Very hot over
the south and west Kimberley, north and west Pilbara, western Gascoyne, and
western and southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 1 February
Chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over most
parts of the Kimberley, northwest Interior, Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne.
Very hot over the south and west Kimberley, Pilbara, west Gascoyne, and most
parts of the South West Land Division.
