Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough remains over inland Pilbara and the Kimberley.A tropical low in
the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf near the Top End southwest coast is expected to
slowly move inland over the Northern Territory on the weekend and early next
week while deepening.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will persist south of the State this weekend. A trough
extends from the Gascoyne to the Interior. Another slow moving trough near the
west coast will linger into early next week as it strengthens, bringing very
hot temperatures to the west coast this weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 13 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northeastern
Interior, possibly heavy at times over northern Kimberley. Chance of a shower
or thunderstorm over inland Gascoyne, central and eastern Pilbara, most parts
of the South West Land Division, Goldfields, Eucla and Interior. Windy at times
over southern parts. Very hot over the southwest Kimberley, Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, western and northern parts of the South West Land Division, northern
Goldfields, Interior and inland Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 14 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, possibly heavy at times
over the northern Kimberley. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over inland
Gascoyne, central and eastern Pilbara, most parts of the South West Land
Division, Goldfields, Eucla and Interior. Windy at times over southern parts.
Very hot over the far southwest Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, western
and northern parts of the South West Land Division, northern Goldfields, inland
Eucla and western Interior.

Forecast for Monday 15 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, possibly heavy at times
over the northeast Kimberley. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the
inland Gascoyne, central and eastern Pilbara, across most of the South West
Land Division, Goldfields, Interior and Eucla. Very hot over the southern
Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, western and northern parts of the South
West Land Division, northern Goldfields and western Interior.

Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, possibly heavy at times
over the northeast Kimberley. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the
inland Gascoyne, central and eastern Pilbara, across most of the South West
Land Division, Goldfields and Interior. Very hot over the southern Kimberley,
Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, western and northern parts of the South West Land
Division, northern Goldfields and northern Interior.
