Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will persist over inland Kimberley and Pilbara for the remainder
of the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies to the south of the state. A trough will deepen down
the west coast during the next few days before moving east from Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 5 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, and Interior. Chance of
thunderstorms over central and eastern Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields,
eastern South East Coastal, and Eucla districts. Showers or drizzle over
southern coastal districts east of Walpole, adjacent southeast Great Southern,
Goldfields, and Eucla. Very hot over the southern Kimberley and inland Pilbara.
Windy across central parts of the state in the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 6 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara, Interior and
far eastern Eucla. Showers or drizzle over southern coastal districts east of
Bremer Bay, southeastern Goldfields, and Eucla. Very hot over the southern
Kimberley, inland Pilbara, and northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Sunday 7 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, and far
eastern Pilbara. Showers or drizzle over coastal parts of the Eucla. Very hot
over the southern Kimberley, inland Pilbara, and northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 8 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior and far eastern
Pilbara. Showers or drizzle over coastal parts of the Eucla. Very hot over the
southern Kimberley, inland Pilbara, and Gascoyne.
