Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will persist over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara during the
week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing south of the State with a trough extending over the
inland Gascoyne to far northern parts of the South West Land Division, which
will persist for the next few days.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 20 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeast parts of the
Interior. Chance of dry thunderstorms over the northeast Gascoyne and adjacent
Interior and far north Goldfields. Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the
Central Wheat Belt, northern Great Southern, Goldfields and southern South
Interior. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and Central
West district. Windy across central and southwest districts.
Forecast for Thursday 21 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, adjacent Goldfields,
eastern Pilbara and far northern Eucla. Chance of showers over far southern
parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara,
Interior, northern Goldfields, inland Central West, northern Central Wheat Belt
and inland far northern Lower West district. Windy across central and southwest
districts.
Forecast for Friday 22 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, Interior and northern Eucla. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara,
Interior and northern Goldfields.
Forecast for Saturday 23 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, and Interior. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Interior, and northern Goldfields.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
