Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will persist over inland Kimberley and Pilbara this weekend and
next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge south of the State will weaken during Sunday. A broad
trough over inland southern WA. The trough will move east later on Sunday ahead
of the next ridge arriving on the southwest coast.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 17 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Kimberley and eastern Interior.
Chance of showers or thunderstorms over most of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields and Eucla, contracting east during the day. Very hot over the
Kimberley, Pilbara, eastern Goldfields, Interior and inland parts of Eucla.
Windy across southern inland districts.

Forecast for Monday 18 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Kimberley and far eastern Interior.
Chance of a light shower along the south coast between Bremer Bay and Eucla.
Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and northern parts of
Central West. Windy across central districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 19 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Kimberley and northeastern Interior.
Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and northern parts of
the Central West. Windy across central and southwest districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 20 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeast parts of the
Interior. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and northern
parts of the Central West. Windy across central and southwest districts.
