Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara for the remainder of
the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak front brushes the south coast this morning. A new high pressure ridge
will begin to develop off the southwest of the State in the wake of the front
and extend east later in the week. A new trough will develop down the west
coast on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 14 December
Isolated shower or thunderstorm over the north and eastern Kimberley. Chance of
a light shower about the coast between Albany and Esperance. Very hot over the
Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Goldfields, Interior, Gascoyne and inland northern
parts of the Central West.

Forecast for Friday 15 December
Isolated shower or thunderstorm over the north and eastern Kimberley. Very hot
over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Goldfields, Interior, Gascoyne and and
inland northern parts of the Central West and Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Saturday 16 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and eastern Kimberley and the
northeast North Interior. Chance of showers over most of the South West Land
Division. Chance of afternoon thunderstorms over the Central Wheat Belt,
southeast Central West, northeast Lower West, far north Great Southern and far
southwest Goldfields. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Goldfields,
Interior, Gascoyne and and inland parts of the Central West and Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Sunday 17 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Kimberley and the eastern Interior.
Chance of showers or thunderstorms over most of the South West Land Division,
Southern Gascoyne, Southern Goldfields and Eucla. Very hot over the Kimberley,
Pilbara, Goldfields, Interior and inland parts of the Central West and Wheat
Belt.
