Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure will persist over the northern districts over the
weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough near the west coast and a ridge south of the State will dominate the
weather pattern, with the ridge strengthening over the weekend. On Monday the
trough will begin to move inland and be over the Goldfields and eastern South
West Land Division on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley and the north Interior. Chance of a thunderstorm with little or no
rainfall over the Pilbara, western inland Gascoyne and the inland Central West
district. Windy in the morning through central parts of the state and
northeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over most of the
western districts.

Forecast for Sunday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley, north Interior, and eastern Pilbara. Chance of a light shower along
the south coast east of Esperance, mostly during the morning. Windy in the
morning through central parts of the state and over most of the western South
West Land Division. Very hot over most of the western districts.

Forecast for Monday 27 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley and far northeastern North Interior. Chance of showers developing
over most of the South West Land Division with possible thunderstorms over the
western parts. Light falls expected. Windy in the morning over most of the
western South West Land Division with temperatures easing.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields and over most of the South West Land Division, inland from the west
coast. Chance of showers near the west coast. Light falls expected. Milder
temperatures over the western South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
