Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
The trough near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts will develop over the western Pilbara on Wednesday and move east on Thursday into the North Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough develops near the west coast on Tuesday, before deepening rapidly and moving inland during Wednesday and Thursday. A strong cold front will move across southern parts of the State during Thursday. A ridge will develop over the Geraldton coast during Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 15 October
Mostly clear.

Forecast for Tuesday 16 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley in the afternoon and early evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 17 October
Showers and thunderstorms in the north and east Kimberley. Showers and thunderstorms developing near the Southwest Capes in the evening.

Forecast for Thursday 18 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms extending throughout the South West Land Division during the morning, reaching the southwest Goldfields in the afternoon and the far western Eucla in the evening. Showers also possible over the southern and western Gascoyne during the morning and early afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley and the far northeast Interior. Hot to very hot and windy over the eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and South Interior, with areas of blowing dust possible in the afternoon. Small hail possible near the western south coast in the evening.

Forecast for Friday 19 October
Showers for the South West Land Division and Eucla contracting to the Lower West, South West and South Coastal districts during the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley during the afternoon and evening.
