Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Kimberley to the eastern Pilbara. A ridge over the
western Pilbara will weaken today, allowing the trough located further east to
slide back towards the coast on Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is located over northeastern parts of the South Interior. A high
pressure system south of the State is moving east into Bight waters while
another trough forms inland from the west coast. The trough moves eastwards
today as another ridge develops south of the State. The trough will deepen off
the west coast on Wednesday before inland on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 25 September
Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the South Interior, Goldfields and
adjacent Gascoyne and Central Wheat Belt. Chance of morning fog over the far
northern and western Kimberley. Very hot across the western Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 26 September
Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the South Interior, southeast
Goldfields, eastern South East Coastal and Eucla. Chance of morning fog over
the far western Kimberley. Windy through the central parts. Very hot across the
western Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 September
Mostly sunny. Chance of morning fog over the far western Kimberley. Windy
through the central and southwestern parts. Warm to hot over much of the South
West Land Division, with temperatures well above normal for this time of year.

Forecast for Thursday 28 September
Partly cloudy. Very hot across the western Kimberley. Hot over the inland South
West Land Division.
