Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Kimberley to the Pilbara. The western edge of the
trough will move east on Friday and Saturday as a ridge develops over the
western Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is deepening down the west coast, bringing warmer conditions to the
South West Land Division. The trough will move inland on Friday then extend
eastward over central and eastern parts on Saturday. A weak cold front will
brush the southwest coast on Saturday night.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 22 September
Chance of a light shower along the Albany coast and over the southern
Goldfields. Chance of shower or thunderstorm over southeastern parts of the
Great Southern and South Coastal districts. Windy at times during the day
through eastern parts.
Forecast for Saturday 23 September
Light showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division
and western Eucla. Windy at times during the day through eastern parts.
Forecast for Sunday 24 September
Light showers over the southern parts of the South West Land Division,
southeast Goldfields, and Eucla.
Forecast for Monday 25 September
Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the South Interior and far northern
Goldfields. A light shower is also possible over the far east of the Eucla
district.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
