Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Pilbara, Kimberley and North Interior. The western
edge of the trough will move east later in the week as a ridge develops over
the western Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure centre will move over east over Bight waters during the
remainder of today with a west coast trough deepening down the west coast,
bringing warmer conditions to the South West Land Division. The trough will
move inland on Friday and be moving east over central and eastern parts on
Saturday. A weak cold front will brush the southwest coast later Saturday night.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 21 September
Partly cloudy with the chance of a light shower or thunderstorm over inland
parts of the South West Land Division and southwestern Goldfields. Windy at
times during the day through the Interior of the State.

Forecast for Friday 22 September
Chance of a light shower along the Albany coast and over the southern
Goldfields. Windy at times during the day through central and eastern parts.

Forecast for Saturday 23 September
Light showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division
and western Eucla. Windy at times during the day through eastern parts.

Forecast for Sunday 24 September
Light showers over the southern parts of the South West Land Division,
southeast Goldfields, and Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
