Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge through central Australia is directing a northeast flow across the
Kimberley, while a weak trough lies over the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge will extend eastwards along the south coast today and during Monday.
Meanwhile, a weak trough extends from the eastern Gascoyne, across the
Goldfields to the South Interior. A front will brush past the southwest coast
on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 17 September
Isolated light morning showers over the Lower West, mainly near the coast. Few
light showers over the southern coastal districts west of Israelite Bay.
Morning fog possible across inland South West Land Division, far southwest
Goldfields and far western parts of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 18 September
Showers southwest of Rockingham to Mount Barker to Bremer Bay. Possible light
showers over the southeast Goldfields and Eucla. The chance of dry
thunderstorms through the northern and central Goldfields, and southeast
Gascoyne. Patchy morning frost over the Great Southern and southern parts of
the Central Wheat Belt. Morning fog possible across southwest Kimberley and
adjacent Pilbara.

Forecast for Tuesday 19 September
Few light showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Lake Grace to Israelite Bay, more
frequent about the southwest coast. Morning fog possible across southwest
Kimberley and adjacent Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 20 September
Few light showers over the southern coastal districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
