Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge extends over the Kimberley and North Interior from a high pressure
system over the southeast of the continent, which moves eastwards today. A
trough will settle over the Pilbara for the rest of the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is weakening over the southeast of the State this morning. A weak
ridge will develop through the Gascoyne today, followed by a weak cold front
brushing the southwest coast early Saturday morning.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 14 September
Showers over central and southern parts of South West Land Division, clearing
from inland parts and the south coast east of Albany during morning. Showers,
and the chance of gusty thunderstorms over the Goldfields, eastern South East
Coastal, and Eucla districts, contracting eastwards of the WA/SA border during
the early morning.

Forecast for Friday 15 September
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Katanning to Albany.

Forecast for Saturday 16 September
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Lake Grace to Hopetoun. Morning fog
possible across western and central parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 17 September
Possible light showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Esperance. Morning fog
possible across the western and central parts of the South West Land Division.
