Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak low pressure trough lies over the west Pilbara and extends south into
the Gascoyne. A high pressure ridge extending from central Australia and into
remaining northern parts continues to bring a warm, dry easterly airstream.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge over the southern districts will move east with a surface
trough forming inland from the west coast. The surface trough will move east on
Sunday and Monday as a weaken cold front moves over the southwest of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 25 August
Sunny. Morning fog patches over southern coastal districts. Chance of morning
smoke about the southwest. Windy over northern parts.

Forecast for Saturday 26 August
Chance of a late shower about the southwest coast. Morning fog patches over the
southwest of the South West Land Division. Windy over northern parts.

Forecast for Sunday 27 August
Showers developing southwest of Busselton to Walpole during the morning,
extending to southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay during the afternoon and
evening. Chance of a gusty thunderstorm southwest of Mandurah to Albany.
Morning fog patches over the southwest of the South West Land Division. Windy
over northern and central parts.

Forecast for Monday 28 August
Showers southwest of Perth to Bremer Bay. Continuing windy over the Kimberley
and adjacent parts.
