Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak low pressure trough lies slow moving near the west Kimberley and Pilbara
coasts. A warm, dry easterly flow continues across the north.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge over the southern districts will move east later in the
week. A trough is forming inland from the west coast. A patchy cloud band will
develop over the eastern Gascoyne and Goldfields today, before clearing on
Thursday. Meanwhile, weak cold fronts will brush past the southwest coast this
week.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 23 August
The chance of light showers southwest of Joondalup to Bremer Bay. Chance of a
shower or thunderstorm about the far eastern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and
adjacent South Interior. Morning fog patches and frost over inland southern and
central parts of the South West Land Division and southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 24 August
Possible light showers southwest of Harvey to Bremer Bay. Morning fog patches
and frost over inland southern and central parts of the South West Land
Division and southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 25 August
Possible light showers about the southwest coast. Morning fog patches over the
South East Coastal and Eucla districts.

Forecast for Saturday 26 August
Light showers developing near the southwest coast and spreading to the west of
Rockingham to Mount Barker in the evening. Morning fog patches over the
southwest of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
