Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak low pressure trough over the northern Kimberley is being pushed offshore
by a firm high pressure ridge to the south. A weak trough will develop over the
Pilbara as the ridge weakens today.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm high pressure ridge over southern parts of the State will dominate the
weather pattern for the next few days. A weak cold front will brush past the
southwest coast later today and move east across the south coast on Monday. A
trough will develop near the west coast on Tuesday, as another weak cold front
approaches the south coast.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 20 August
Light showers near the southwest coast, extending to southwest of Perth to
Wagin to Jerramungup during the day. Morning fog patches over inland southern
and central parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 21 August
Light morning showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Narrogin to Israelite Bay.
Morning fog patches over inland central parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 22 August
Possible light showers southwest of Busselton to Albany. Morning fog patches
and frost over inland southern and central parts of the South West Land
Division, southwest Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 23 August
Possible light showers southwest of Bunbury to Albany. Morning fog patches and
frost over inland southern and central parts of the South West Land Division
and southwest Goldfields

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
