Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over the Gascoyne will slowly move southeast during
Sunday and build over central Australia early next week. Becoming windy at
times from Tuesday as the warm east to southeasterly flow turns more north to
northeast. A trough will bring showers to western Pilbara on Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure through the Gascoyne and South Interior will track
slowly southeast during Sunday, allowing a showery westerly flow to continue
across the southwest of the State. The ridge will recede east on Tuesday, as a
moderate to strong cold front approaches the Southwest Capes late Tuesday. The
cold front and associated rain band will sweep through the central and southern
parts of the State on Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 30 July
Isolated light showers across much of the South West Land Division, tending
widespread in the Lower West and through southern districts. Areas of frost in
the morning through the eastern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and South
Interior. Areas of morning fog over inland parts of the South West Land
Division, southwest Gascoyne and southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 31 July
Light showers across southwestern parts of the South West Land Division. Areas
of frost in the morning through the southeast Gascoyne, southwest Goldfields
and eastern Central Wheat Belt. Areas of morning fog over much of the Southwest
Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 August
Showers west of Bunbury to Walpole, increasing and extending west of Swanbourne
to Denmark in the evening. Chance of morning fog and frost over inland southern
parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 August
Rain and showers west of Carnarvon to Bremer Bay, spreading east during the day
to the rest of the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla,
western Pilbara and western parts of South Interior by evening. Isolated gusty
thunderstorms possible west of Gingin and Walpole. Chance of small hail across
the southwest districts.
