Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure to the south drives mostly southeasterly winds over
northern WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over central WA, while a weak cold front is
expected to brush the southern coastline later on Friday. The ridge then moves
over southern WA and dominates the weather pattern during the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 21 July
Showers southwest of a line from Lancelin to Israelite Bay. Areas of morning
frost over most of the Central Wheat Belt, inland Central West district,
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, southern South Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 22 July
Areas of morning frost and fog over inland parts of the South West Land
Division, southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and southern South Interior. Morning
fog over inland parts of the South West Land Division. Windy over the north of
the State.

Forecast for Sunday 23 July
Areas of morning fog and frost over central and eastern parts of the South West
Land Division, Goldfields and Eucla. Windy over the north of the State.

Forecast for Monday 24 July
Possible late showers over the southwest capes.
