Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure developing to the south will bring southeasterly winds
over remaining Pilbara waters from Thursday, extending to the Kimberley by the
weekend. A weak trough will lie over the Kimberley and into the North Interior
until Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure remains over central parts of the State for the
remainder of the week, slipping south over the weekend. A weak cold front
brushes the south coast on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 20 July
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Albany and along the south coast, most
likely over the southwest district. Areas of morning frost over the inland
South West Land Division, southeast Gascoyne and Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 21 July
Showers southwest of a line from Lancelin to Israelite Bay, most likely
southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay. Areas of morning frost over most of the
Central Wheat Belt, inland Central West district, southern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, southern South Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 22 July
Morning shower possible about the Esperance coast. Morning frost over the
northern and eastern Central Wheat Belt, northern Great Southern, southern
South Interior, Goldfields and southeast Gascoyne. Morning fog over inland
parts of the South West Land Division. Windy over the north of the State.

Forecast for Sunday 23 July
Morning fog and frost over the northern and eastern Central Wheat Belt,
northern Great Southern, southern South Interior, Goldfields and southeast
Gascoyne. Windy over the north of the State.
