Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over eastern parts continues to move away as a weak
trough moves over the west Pilbara, reaching the Kimberley by late Wednesday.
Another ridge of high pressure develops in its wake.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front has moved across the south western coasts and will move across the
remainder of southern and western WA during today. Another ridge of high
pressure develops over central parts of the State from later Wednesday and will
remain there for the remainder of the week. Another cold front brushes the
south coast on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 19 July
Showers southwest of a line from Carnarvon to Esperance in the morning,
extending to southwest of a line from Coral Bay to Leonora to Eyre by the
afternoon. Small hail over southern parts of the South West Land Division.
Chance of a thunderstorm about coast between Cape Naturaliste and Albany. Windy
with blowing dust possible over the Eucla, eastern Goldfields and southern
South Interior during the day.

Forecast for Thursday 20 July
Showers southwest of a line Perth to Albany and along the south coast. Areas of
morning frost over the inland South West Land Division, southeast Gascoyne and
Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 21 July
Showers southwest of a line from Lancelin to Israelite Bay. Areas of morning
frost over the northern parts of the South West Land Division, southern
Gascoyne, Goldfields, South Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 22 July
Early shower about the Esperance coast. Morning frost over the southern South
Interior, Goldfields and southeast Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
