Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system over southern WA is driving fresh and gusty
southeasterly winds over much of WA’s north. The high pressure system will move
into the Bight from Sunday, weakening its influence over WA during the
following days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies over southern WA, moving slowly into the Bight from
Sunday before a weak front brushes the southwest on Monday followed by a
stronger front on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 16 July
Areas of morning frost over inland areas of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 17 July
Showers southwest of Bunbury to Albany, mostly morning. Areas of morning frost
over inland areas of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 18 July
Showers developing over the southwest capes in the morning and early afternoon,
extending to southwest of a line Geraldton to Bremer Bay by midnight.

Forecast for Wednesday 19 July
Showers southwest of a line Denham to Esperance in the morning, extending to
southwest of a line Coral Bay to Leonora to Eucla by the afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
