Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over central WA, which will develop and move over
southern parts of the State on the weekend, bringing a fresh and gusty
southeasterly surge.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak trough will move over southern parts of the State on Friday followed by
a high pressure ridge, which will dominate over the weekend. A front will brush
the far southwest of the State on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 14 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne, southern
Goldfields and the Eucla, though less likely through inland parts. Possible
hail south of Busselton to Esperance. Showers and hail clearing from the west
during the afternoon and evening. Areas of morning fog in the southern Gascoyne.
Forecast for Saturday 15 July
Morning showers over the eastern Eucla and far Southern Interior. Areas of
morning fog and frost over inland areas of the South West Land Division and
southern Goldfields.
Forecast for Sunday 16 July
Areas of morning frost over inland areas of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields and Eucla.
Forecast for Monday 17 July
Showers southwest of Bunbury to Albany, mostly morning. Areas of morning fog
and frost over inland areas of the South West Land Division and Goldfields.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
