Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A cloud band extends from the east Pilbara into the Interior and will gradually
contract eastward through the weekend. A ridge over northern WA is weakening
but a new high moving through southern WA during Monday and Tuesday will bring
a return to dry southeasterly winds for most of the Pilbara, North Interior and
Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will cross the southwest corner of the State tonight before
continuing eastward through the South West Land Division on Sunday. Another
high will build eastward in through southern and central WA in the wake of the
front, before the next cold front reaches the South West Capes on Tuesday night.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 10 June
Showers south and west of a line Jurien Bay to Katanning to Albany, extending
to southwest of Kalbarri to Esperance during the afternoon and evening. Showers
most widespread about the Lower West coastal plain, and later in the day across
the South West. The chance of a thunderstorm south and west of a line from
Eneabba to York to Denmark. Possible morning frost over south and east
Gascoyne, adjacent Central Wheat Belt, northern Goldfields and South Interior.
Chance of showers from a cloud band through the far southeast Pilbara and
Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 11 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, spreading to far southern Gascoyne,
southern Goldfields and Eucla coast during the day. Showers on an easing trend
about southwestern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers from a cloud
band contracting out of the far eastern Interior during the day. Possible
morning frost over the southeast Gascoyne and South Interior. Possible morning
fog over northwest Central Wheat Belt, inland Central West and adjacent western
Gascoyne. Large swells and hazardous surf developing about the south coast.

Forecast for Monday 12 June
Showers over the mainly coastal parts of the Lower West, South West, South
Coastal and South East Coastal districts. Chance of showers near the Eucla
coast. Areas of morning frost over the far southern Gascoyne, western
Goldfields and Central Wheat Belt. Possible morning fog through the inland
Central West, northwest Central Wheat Belt and southwestern Gascoyne. Large
swells and hazardous surf about the south coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 June
Showers south and west of a line from Jurien Bay to Katanning to Bremer Bay,
increasing for most of this area later in the day. Possible morning fog through
southwestern Wheat Belt and Great Southern. Morning frost for the northern
Great Southern, Central Wheat Belt, southern Gascoyne, western Goldfields, and
South Interior. Possible showers from a cloud band over the east and central
Pilbara.
