Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge across central parts of the state is directing fresher,
drier southeasterly winds over the Pilbara, Interior, and the Kimberley. A weak
cloud band is expected to form over the Pilbara and Interior by the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front over the south of the State will continue moving east this
evening. Another weak to moderate cold front will reach the Southwest Capes
later on Saturday and move across the South West Land Division on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 9 June
Showers south and west of a line Jurien Bay to Southern Cross to Israelite Bay,
clearing east of Bremer Bay in the afternoon. Showers more frequent about the
west coast south of Lancelin. Possible morning frost over south and east
Gascoyne, Goldfields and South Interior. Possible patchy morning fog through
the Lower West, South West and across into southern parts of the Central Wheat
Belt and Goldfield districts.

Forecast for Saturday 10 June
Showers south and west of a line Jurien Bay to Katanning to Albany, extending
to southwest of Kalbarri to Esperance during the afternoon and evening. The
chance of a thunderstorm about coastal parts between Margaret River and Albany.
Chance of a shower over central eastern parts of the Interior. Possible morning
frost over south and east Gascoyne, adjacent Central Wheat Belt, northern
Goldfields and South Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 11 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, spreading to far southern Gascoyne,
southern Goldfields and southern Eucla during the day. Chance of a shower over
central eastern parts of the Interior. Possible morning frost over the
southeast Gascoyne and South Interior. Possible morning fog over northwest
Central Wheat Belt, inland Central West and western Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 12 June
Showers over the southern Central West, Lower West, South West, South Coastal,
southern Great Southern, South East Coastal, and Eucla districts. Possible
morning frost over far southern Gascoyne, southwestern Goldfields, Central
Wheat Belt, and Great Southern. Possible morning fog over northwest Central
Wheat Belt, inland Central West and western Gascoyne. Possible small hail along
the south coast between Albany and Israelite Bay.
