Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge through central Australia will then maintain cooler and drier
easterlies until middle of next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure centre will move through southern WA Sunday, reaching South
Australia on Monday. As the ridge weakens along the west coast early next week,
a moderate cold front will approach the southwest Capes on Tuesday, moving
through the South West Land Division on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 May
Cold morning with areas of frost through the inland Lower West, southeastern
parts of the Central West, Central Wheat Belt, far southern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, southern South Interior, inland Eucla, northern and eastern Great
Southern and northern South East Coastal District. Possible early fog in the
Great Southern and southwest Central Wheat Belt. Chance of a light morning
shower between Albany and Augusta.

Forecast for Monday 29 May
Areas of frost over eastern Central Wheat Belt, adjacent Gascoyne, eastern
parts of the Great Southern, southern Goldfields, southern parts of South
Interior, inland Eucla and inland South East Coastal. Possible fog through the
southwest Great Southern and inland parts of the South West and western parts
of South Coastal District. Partly cloudy with light showers possible about the
South West Capes late in the day. Maximum temperatures a bit warmer through
most of the South West Land Division but remaining cooler than normal in the
north.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 May
Showers increasing about the southwest Capes, with showers extending to be
south and west of a line from Hopetoun to Cunderdin to Dongara by late evening.
Chance of a thunderstorm about the southwest coast and adjacent inland areas.
Above-normal maximum temperatures through most of the South West Land Division
in the northerly flow ahead of the front. Remaining cooler than normal with
cold nights in the Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 May
Showers southwest of a line from Denham to Cocklebiddy, more frequent about the
southwest coast. Remaining cooler than normal with cold nights in the Kimberley.
