Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge over central and southern parts of the State directs a
cool and dry southeasterly surge over northern parts this week, keeping a
trough offshore.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm ridge of high pressure will develop across the southern parts of the
State on Tuesday and persist for the remainder of the week.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 18 April
Possible light showers about the south coast east of Hopetoun, contracting east
during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 19 April
Chance of a light shower about the eastern parts of the South Interior south of
Warburton. Windy across central and northern parts.

Forecast for Thursday 20 April
Chance of a light shower about the Eucla district east coast. Windy across
central and northern parts.

Forecast for Friday 21 April
Chance of a light shower about the north coast of the Kimberley. Windy across
central and northern parts.
