Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Kimberley an Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge is building over the southwest of the state. A trough extends from
central inland parts southeast into the Eucla and offshore to a deepening low
south of the State. The trough and low will move east today, with the trough
exiting the state and the low moving into the Bight by Thursday. The ridge will
then push over southern parts of the State from Thursday with a surface trough
forming down the west coast on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 5 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne,
Kimberley, Interior and far eastern Eucla. Chance of a thunderstorm along the
coast between Esperance and Israelite Bay. Showers over southern coastal
districts and the remaining Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 6 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne,
Kimberley, and northern parts of the Interior. Showers over the southern
coastal districts and near the Eucla coast. Possible morning fog over inland
southwestern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 7 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northern
Goldfields, Kimberley, and northern and western parts of the Interior. Showers
over the South West Land Division south of a line Lancelin to Dalwallinu to
Paynes Find, the remaining Goldfields and eastern Eucla. Possible morning fog
over inland southern parts.

Forecast for Saturday 8 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, and
Kimberley. Showers possible over the remaining eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields,
South Interior and southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
