Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over northern parts of the State and is more active across
the southern Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A slow moving trough is over the inland western South West Land Division and
will move east today. A weak ridge is developing near the west coast and will
build across the southwest on Tuesday. A weak front will approach the southwest
coast today and deepen on Tuesday as it moves across the south coast, while a
low pressure system develops in the Bight. Another cold front may move over the
South West Land Division on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 3 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern and
southern Goldfields, Kimberley, northern and central Interior and eastern
inland parts of the South West Land Division. Showers over the remainder of the
southern and eastern South West Land Division. Chance of morning fog over
southern coastal districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, northern
and eastern Goldfields, Kimberley, Interior, South East Coastal district and
Eucla. Showers over eastern and southern parts of the South West Land Division,
and southeast Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 5 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne,
Kimberley, Interior and eastern Eucla. Showers over southern coastal districts
and southern Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 6 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne,
Kimberley, and northern Interior. Showers over the South West Land Division and
near the Eucla coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
