Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad slow moving trough lies over inland Kimberley and Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is building across the south of WA in the wake of a
trough which moved through overnight. A new trough will develop about the west
coast on Tuesday as the ridge starts to move east.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 5 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, far northeastern
parts of the Gascoyne, northern parts of the Interior and far southeast. Light
showers possible along the south coast. Windy over eastern and central parts.

Forecast for Monday 6 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northwestern
parts of the North Interior. Becoming windy over the Eucla, South Interior and
Goldfields in the evening, and over the Darling Scarp in the late evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and far northern
Gascoyne. Windy over central parts of the State, and over the Darling Scarp in
the early morning and again in the evening. Very hot in the Central West.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, western Pilbara, inland Gascoyne
and South West Land Division. Very hot over inland Central West and northern
parts of Central Wheat Belt.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
