Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is moving through central parts of the State. A ridge of high pressure
will extend along the south coast over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 4 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
northwestern Interior, Goldfields and far northeastern Wheatbelt. Showers along
the south coast between Cape Leeuwin and Bremer Bay. Hot to very hot over
northeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Windy through the Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 5 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.
Light showers possible along the south coast. Windy over eastern and central
parts.

Forecast for Monday 6 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northwestern
parts of the North Interior. Becoming windy over the Eucla, South Interior and
Goldfields, and over the Darling Scarp in the evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northern
Gascoyne. Windy over central parts of the State, and over the Darling Scarp in
the early morning and again in the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
