Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A slow moving trough extends across the Kimberley to the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure trough near the west coast will move inland today while a new
ridge will build over the south coast and dominate the weather pattern through
to early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 3 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over western and central Kimberley, Pilbara,
Gascoyne and South West Land Division. Hot to very hot over the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Saturday 4 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne
and northwestern parts of the Interior. Showers over the southern parts of the
South West Land Division. Hot to very hot over the far northern parts of the
South West Land Division and eastern parts.

Forecast for Sunday 5 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northwestern
parts of the North Interior. Light showers possible over the south coast. Windy
over eastern and central parts.

Forecast for Monday 6 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northwestern
parts of the North Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
