Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak low lies off the Pilbara coast, and a trough extends from the low across
the Kimberley coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is strengthening over the south coast. A trough
develops down the west coast on Sunday and will remain there for the new week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 26 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north Interior, Pilbara,
and the north and west Gascoyne. Chance of thunderstorms over far northern
parts of the Central West district. Heavy falls possible with thunderstorms
over the northern Kimberley. Windy over central parts.

Forecast for Monday 27 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara,
Gascoyne. Chance of thunderstorms over far northern parts of the Central West
district. Windy over central parts in the morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far North Interior,
Pilbara, and Gascoyne. Possible thunderstorms over the northern Central West
district. Windy over central and eastern parts. Hot to very hot over west and
northern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far North Interior,
Pilbara, and Gascoyne. Possible thunderstorms over the northern Central West
district. Windy over central and eastern parts. Hot to very hot over west and
northern parts of the South West Land Division.
