Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure persists across the Pilbara, Kimberley and North
Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A west coast trough is developing and will deepen during today, before moving
east on Tuesday ahead of a weak cold front brushing past the southwest coast in
the evening. The front will be followed by a new ridge of high pressure by
Wednesday and a new trough develops over inland parts of the South West Land
Division on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 13 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley,
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and central parts of the
Interior. Very hot over northern and central parts of the South West Land
Division, and central and northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 14 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley,
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and northern parts of the Interior. Chance of a
late shower about the far southwest coast. Windy over the southeastern parts of
the South West Land Division. Very hot over eastern parts of the South West
Land Division, and central and northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 15 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most of the Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne and western parts of the Interior. Light showers on the south coast
west of Israelite Bay. Very hot over eastern and northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 16 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far northeast Pilbara and
northern Interior. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
