Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure persists across the Pilbara, North Interior and
Kimberley. A trough lies off the west Kimberley coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends from the Interior and into southern parts of the Northern
Territory. A firm ridge of high pressure is extending over the southern parts
of the state. A trough lies along the west coast and will persist during next
week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 29 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern and central
Pilbara, northern parts of the Interior, Gascoyne, Central West, northern Lower
West, northwest Central Wheat Belt and northwest Goldfields. Windy morning
across the Gascoyne, Central West and Lower West. Very hot through Central West
and northwest Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Monday 30 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern and central
Pilbara, northern parts of the Interior, Gascoyne, northern and central parts
of the South West Land Division. Very hot over inland northern parts of the
Central West and Lower West districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern parts of
the Interior, Gascoyne, northern and central parts of the South West Land
Division. Showers about the south coastal districts west of Esperance. Very hot
over inland parts of Central West and northern parts of Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Northern Interior,
inland Gascoyne and inland northern parts of the South West Land Division. Very
hot over the inland northern Central West.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
