Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure persists across the Pilbara, North Interior and
Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over southeast WA will weaken and move to the east
from later Monday. Consequently, a slow moving trough near the west coast will
become mobile and move inland on Monday. On Tuesday, the trough is likely to
continue moving eastward as a new ridge extends across the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 22 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior,
Gascoyne, South West, South Coastal District, Great Southern, Central Wheat
Belt, western parts of South East Coastal, far southwest Goldfields and inland
parts of the Lower West and Central West. Isolated heavy falls possible in the
Kimberley. Very hot over inland Central West, inland Lower West, western parts
of Central Wheat Belt and western parts of Great Southern.

Forecast for Monday 23 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior,
inland Gascoyne, and inland Central West. Isolated heavy falls possible in
central and western Kimberley.Very hot over inland South West

Forecast for Tuesday 24 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Pilbara, North Interior, Gascoyne and
Kimberley. Chance of showers and thunderstorms over inland South West, eastern
Central Wheat Belt and western Goldfields. Isolated heavy falls possible over
north and west Kimberley. Very hot through the inland South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 25 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Pilbara, North Interior, inland
Gascoyne and Kimberley. Chance of showers and thunderstorms over northern parts
of Central Wheat Belt and northwest Goldfields. Showers over the South East
Coastal and Eucla districts. Very hot through inland parts of the Central West.
