Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extending from the Pilbara coast into the North Interior is moving
into the southern Kimberley on Sunday as a strong ridge develops over southern
parts of the State. The trough is expected to move south again on Tuesday as
the ridge weakens.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure ridge is extending across the southern half of the
State. A trough will begin to form down the west coast on Sunday and Monday,
deepen by Tuesday before moving inland ahead of a front arriving on the
southwest coast on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 13 November
Isolated showers and chance of a gusty thunderstorm over the northern and
eastern Kimberley. Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields and Eucla contracting east during the day. Chance of
morning fog over the southwest Kimberley and far northeast Pilbara. Cooler than
average temperatures over central and southern parts of the State.

Forecast for Monday 14 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Light
showers over the southern coastal districts. Chance of morning fog about the
far southwest Kimberley and far northwest Pilbara.

Forecast for Tuesday 15 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley, and
eastern parts of North Interior. Isolated light showers about the south coast.
Chance of morning fog over the southern parts of the South West Land Division
and far southern Goldfields. Warmer near the west coast. Very hot over southern
Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 16 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northern parts of the
Interior. Showers over southern and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of morning fog over southwest Pilbara.
